What started out as a memorial prayer group to honor the late Georgia Sue Gaines, has quickly grown into fully incorporated church entity with an annual budget in the millions. Founding member, Taffy Davenport Gaines Crockett once stated. "This organization is created to honor the original members of the Landover Ladies Club, and is a tribute to Baptist women all over the world!"

Politicians and businessmen hurry to gather the latest data concerning the Ladies of Landover. One congressman remarks, "They have become a political force to be reckoned with." 

With the help of Mrs. Betty Bowers, founding members have unified the largest conservative Christian Woman's force in the world today. The Ladies of Landover and Baptist Women splinter groups by the same name have an estimated worldwide membership that reached the 10 million mark in October 1999.

"Baptist women are known for their unique ability to display beauty, charm, and wit while at the same time being submissive to the greater sex," Pastor Deacon Fred notes. "To Satan, The Ladies of Landover are quite possibly one of the greatest threats he has ever had the discomfort of knowing. Lucifer himself knows each one of them by name, and works daily on discouraging them in their Christian walk."
