Against Pastor's advice, I decided to approach the New International Version of the Bible (the NIV) with an open mind. I approved of their changing John 11:35 from "Jesus wept" to the more linguistically correct, if less mellifluous, "Jesus cleared his throat." But I did not approve of their translating the Hebrew word "homosexuality" to the politically correct term "unsafe sex." It's clearly their agenda to let homosexuals off the hook when in truth they are headed into the great gaping maw of Hell. Check out the differences for yourself! KJV 1611 I Corinthians 6:10

But that's not the worst of it! My shock turned to outrage upon reading the small print on the back cover "This Bible is printed on 100% acid free fetal tissue." Fetal tissue! I immediately telephoned the publisher of the NIV, who confirmed that fetal tissue was cheaper and more durable than ordinary paper. By using fetal tissue, they publish Bibles at a discount and hope to replace every King James Version Bible in the country by the third quarter of 2003! He ended by saying that using fetal tissue saves trees! A little more sleuthing on my part found that the NIV Company finances a pregnancy crisis center. By showing scared pregnant teenaged girls movies of women during labor and delivery, they're able to convince them to abort. Yes, you guessed it. More fetal tissue for their evil bogus Bibles. If you aren't sobbing uncontrollably by now, you have a heart of stone. I'm in tears as I type this. Whatever you do, do NOT purchase an NIV Bible. Do NOT even pick one up. And tell your friends. We've got to get the word out. If not, we may well find ourselves apologizing to Hitler.
